
Folks living in China have reason to look forward to a new Windows Mobile 6.5 device in the form of the Philips D908. This smartphone ought to be available from China Telecom soon, where it will most probably occupy the high-end device segment with specifications such as these – 3.2″ WVGA touchscreen display, GSM and CDMA/EV-DO connectivity, Wi-Fi support, GPS navigation, Bluetooth 2.1, a 5-megapixel camera, 1GB RAM, 2GB ROM and a microSD memory card slot that can further augment its memory capacity by up to 32GB. No word on pricing though.
