Redneck Techie has a vision – to make a pico projector wireless game gun, and this vision has finally been realized courtesy of Microvision’s efforts. Check out the video above and you’ll see why – the controller enables gamers to break free from their fixed screens only to project the battle on any surface, as long as it is still viewable of course. This is made possible by using the infinite focus capability of the PicoP display engine, coupled with a motion sensing module, letting you enjoy video games across multiple surfaces while tracking your character’s point-of-view in 3D space. Sounds cool but there seems to be one major drawback – you apparently would require to have a pretty much perfectly round room in order to maximize the experience.
