This just goes to show that scientists love Space Invaders too. It may not look like a perfect alien from Space Invaders, but considering that it’s made from glowing bacteria, we’re sure that you’re willing to ignore the imperfections. These pixels are actually genetically engineered bacteria, which are credited to Team Osaka, at the nanobiology laboratories at the University of Osaka, Japan. Now you know what they do late at night at the labs, right?
