Ricoh GR Digital III camera in a special limited edition

Granted, cameras aren’t as cheap as say, a console, and even then not everyone goes out of the way to purchase a special edition console when it is released. Take for instance the Game Boy and Nintendo DS lines – both have a plethora of special editions unveiled, but you won’t find too many repeat buyers. How much more so for the Ricoh GR Digital III camera that is now available in a limited edition, thanks to a collaboration with fashion brand, “Stussy”. This was rolled out to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the US brand. Changes are all cosmetic, with a replaced shutter button. There will only be 500 units of these available worldwide from February 2010 onwards, retailing for approximately €745 each.
