StarTech has rolled out its USB 3.0 ExpressCard which comes with a couple of ports to get you started off on the right footing where USB 3.0 is concerned. There are a couple of things to watch out for though – you won’t have sufficient energy to supply a full 900mA for each port, requiring you to tote around an optional AC adapter if you tend to travel a whole lot. Another drawback would be its design that makes it more than vulnerable of breaking off when dropped or landed on the side of the ExpressCard. Would you fork out $50 for this?
