It looks like mankind has taken another small step towards making hybrid cars become the norm rather than the exception. Toyota has announced that it will begin selling affordable plug-in hybrid cars in 2011. Toyota is planning to sell tens of thousands of plug-in hybrid cars in the future with an affordable price tag. While there isn’t an official confirmation on the price just yet, Toyota’s R&D chief has indicated that it would be cheaper than $33,700. It will be interesting to see what our world would be like if all the cars we used would be electric powered, huh?
