Now here’s an iPhone app for the masses – the Wake Me Shake Train Alarm app that will help alert snoozers on Japan’s famous trains that they have arrived at their stop. Developed by iPhone programmer Warwick Pearmund, this $2.99 software requires you to inform it of the station where you want to get off alongside how far away you are from said station when the alarm rings. Once the relevant information has been keyed in, the app will go all out to sense the right parameters, kicking in at the right moment so that you will achieve the maximum amount of beauty sleep during your daily commute. Just remember not to get groped or pick pocketed on Japan’s notoriously crowded trains during rush hour!
