If you own a WD TV Live HD media box, you might want to stay away from the recent firmware update released by WD (Western Digital). If the complaints that are going around the forum are anything to go by, it seems that after downloading and installing the v1.101.12 firmware update, many units that were previously working show nothing but a blank screen. WD has acknowledged the problem and has since removed the update from the site. Hopefully WD will be fixing those affected units for customers though.
