Microsoft is current investigating reports that its latest security updates have resulted in certain Windows machines to crash while displaying a virtually black screen without any desktop icons, taskbar, sidebar or other elements, freezing up with a mere “My Computer” Explorer window for those who have a rub of the green. Apparently, this issue affects a range of Windows including the recently released Windows 7 operating system. Hopefully Microsoft will be able to patch things up quickly if they’re to keep their customers happy.
