The Aperion Audio Home Audio Link is capable of transmitting uncompressed audio sans wires from any source, enabling multi-room listening within a decent range, of course. The Home Audio Link, also known as HAL, is a wireless adapter that streams any audio format wirelessly from a compatible device be it a computer, iPod, digital audio player or even a cellphone to a range of audio systems. You can also introduce additional HAL Receiver units into your home, allowing you to distribute audio up to three different rooms using the 2.4GHz band instead of Wi-Fi connectivity. Aperion is working on rolling out several new subwoofers that come with their own USB 2.0 ports. Each Aperion HAL system will retail for $149, while additional HAL Receiver units retail for $70 a pop. Shipping commences this January 28th, but you can place your pre-order now.
