If you were monitoring Apple’s stock throughout the coverage of the iPad announcement, you’ll probably have gotten a shock when you stock dipped upon the iPad’s announcement. Wasn’t it good enough? The good news is that the stock started picking up again, after the initial drop, and the best part is, it shot up rather sharply upon the announcement of its $499 price point. Considering that previous rumors indicated that the iPad would be priced at around $899-$999, the $499 price point is certainly a good deal, so it’s no surprise that the stock rose on that occasion. Did the iPad announcement help you out with your portfolio?
