Asus has come to an agreement with Boingo Wireless by including software from the Wi-Fi hotspot operator in the following netbooks from their stable – the Asus Eee PC 1005PE, 1008P and 1201N. With Boingo Wireless’ software pre-loaded within, you are able to hook up to 125,000 Wi-Fi hotspots worldwide. Too bad this doesn’t translate to free use of its service since you will still need to fork out $9.95 monthly for a US account, while folks who want global access will have to be $59 poorer each month. One the bright side, you can always give it a go by purchasing a qualifying Asus Eee PC since the first three months will see you enjoy a 50% discount.
