ASUS UL30Vt-A1 notebook up for pre-order

ASUS’s latest Intel CULV-powered notebook, the UL30Vt-A1 is now available for pre-order on Amazon. This is not more of the same old, as the 13.3″ silver-colored notebook will feature a longer lasting performance in the form of an 8-cell, 5,600mAh battery. You won’t get a faster processor though, as it is stuck with the same 1.3GHz Intel dual-core processor, although you can choose to increase the RAM count to 4GB if you want. NVIDIA’s 512MB GeForce G 210M and an integrated Intel GMA 4500 graphics chipset have been included for your video processing needs, allowing you to switch between the two depending on the situation. Other features include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and a VGA webcam, all running on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. There is no shipping date listed for the UL30Vt-A1 despite being available on pre-order for $849 on Amazon.
