Bill Gates hits the Twitter scene

At long last, Bill Gates has created a Twitter account with his first tweet paying tribute to basic programming – “‘Hello World.’ Hard at work on my foundation letter — publishing on 1/25.” Bill continued with “Thanks to you and all the other people who have welcomed me. I’ve got a lot to learn about Twitter but look forward to sharing more.” which he sent to Ashton Kutcher. Just on his first day alone, Bill has managed to surpass the 142,000 followers mark which is no mean feat, although it places him far below other celebrities with Twitter accounts.
