[CES 2010] The Dial 2DO Blutooth headset does not only free your hands for basic stuff like voice communications, but it can also read SMS and email messages out loud, thanks to a text to voice function. The reverse works too: speak and your sentence gets translated back to SMS or email. Thanks to the two-way voice/text translation, you can follow friends’ updates on Facebook and other services, but also send updates of your own. Now, the caveat is whether or not the voice to text translation is accurate (I’m not holding my breath on that), and the odds are that it’s far from perfect. CES Unveiled was way too noisy for a decent test, but if someone out there does the plunge, do leave a comment!
