Boogie Board helps you go paperless

Folks who want to make that paperless jump will find that the Boogie Board LCD tablet from Improv Electronics a pretty decent candidate, especially when it boasts technology from Ohio’s Kent Displays known as “Reflex LCD”. Reflex LCD is a pressure-sensitive, flexible plastic which does not require a single iota of juice to retain whatever written on it, while a tiny watch battery is all it needs to clear the screen. This watch battery is touted to be able to execute more than 50,000 erase cycles before running out of its usefulness. Retailing for $29.97, the Boogie Board tablet has a cost per erase that is 15 times cheaper compared to the per sheet cost of paper in a comparable steno notepad. An electronic Moleskin of sorts, perhaps?
