[CES 2010] D-Link is back at CES with their Boxee Box Remote which boasts a full QWERTY keyboard right on the remote itself. Instead of being another point-and-click device, D-Link took a more radical step by introducing a QWERTY keyboard after listening to their customers instead of taking the hottest route – throwing in a multitouch display. Tipped to be released sometime in the first half of the year for not more than $200, it will be able to handle a slew of the most popular video formats including DivX, H.264 and MKV among others. Not only that, you are able to log on to a variety of online services including Pandora, Facebook, Twitter and Flickr. Of course, how can we rule out the Boxee app itself? Guess our thumbs are in a battle of getting more or less calloused as the rivalry between a physical QWERTY keyboard and a virtual one rages on in the world of consumer electronics.
