We’ve heard rumors and confirmations from various sources, but if someone were to have inside details on the Apple tablet, it would have to be Harold McGraw, CEO of McGraw-Hill, since they publish a whole load of books, and the tablet is supposed to be offering a lot of reading content, right? Well, in a recent interview with CNBC, he mentioned that the tablet will make an appearance at the upcoming event (duh), and also mentioned that the operating system used will be similar to that of the iPhone. Best of all, it seems that 95% of all their eBooks are going to be available on the tablet, which is great if you’re looking for diverse content. It’s nice to get a little confirmation from someone who (should be) involved in the tablet discussions ahead of the event. Of course, you do wonder whether he’ll get into hot soup over revealing this, after all, Steve Jobs really doesn’t seem to like product information leaked beforehand. Oh, by the way, Mr. McGraw also describes the tablet as “really terrific”, and we’re sure we’ll all be echoing that statement after 24 hours. Stay tuned!
