With the netbook market clearly making itself a mainstream source of income for many hardware manufacturers, there might be a glut of older models that are left behind on store shelves. Clear takes advantage of this situation by offering a dated Samsung NC10 model (which came out in 2008 and having been replaced by the N110/N120 series in 2009 alongside new Pineview-powered models this year) that comes with a built-in 4G WiMAX modem, retailing for $199.99 before tax. Apart from that, you will need for fork out $45 monthly for unlimited data use, although the first six months will cost you just $30 monthly. Bear in mind that this is a 2-year contract which runs up to $1,190 over the course of time, but it is still cheaper compared to other subsidized, 3G-enabled netbooks available.
