Dell Mini 5 shown by Michael Dell

Dell’s upcoming Mini 5 was recently shown off by Michael Dell himself, where this 5″ MID (Mobile Internet Device) looks set to be a winner if it competes in a beauty pageant. Initial impressions have garnered some positive responses, touting a high level of responsiveness which is impressive considering this device, in all probability, isn’t in a post production stage just yet. Could the Android-powered Dell Mini 5 prove to be a winner when released, or will it be a turkey?

Dell: Dell Inc. is one of largest technology corporations in the world. Michael Dell started the company in 1984, and it sold computers built from stock components. Previously named PCs Limited, the company created the "Turbo PC," the company's first computer. In 1988, the company changed its name to Dell Computer Corporation. Dell sells personal computers, servers, data storage devices, network switches, software, and computer peripherals. Dell acquired computer hardware company Alienware in 2006, and Perot Systems, an information technology services provider, in 2009. Dell is also considered as the third largest PC vendors in the world, next to HP and Lenovo (as of 12/30/2013).
