Apple’s tablet is still a few days away from being officially announced, and it seems like manufacturers are still trying to preempt Apple and get some momentum built up before Apple’s highly-anticipated device is unleashed in this world. With that in mind, DigitalRise has released its S1 Slate, which is a cheaper version of its multitouch-capable X9. Of course, nobody’s going to blame you if you wait a few more days to see what Apple offers before making a buying decision, but there’s no harm in checking out this $630 tablet in the meantime, right? Specifications include:
- Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz
- 1GB RAM
- 160GB hard disk
- 10.2-inch display at 1024 x 600 resolution
- 3000mAh lithium-ion battery
- 1.3 megapixel webcam
- Wi-Fi
- Windows 7
