Emblaze Else On Show At CES 2010

[CES 2010] CES 2010 seems to have some rather interesting things to check out; amongst them is the Emblaze Else, by Emblaze Mobile. Chances are that you haven’t heard haven’t heard of the company or the phone before. We actually did briefly mention this a while ago, but details were rather scarce back then. The Else, manufactured by Sharp, will sport some rather nice specs such as a 3.47-inch touchscreen boasting 480 x 854 resolution, OMAP 3430 processor, 16B internal memory, 5-megapixel camera, and GPS. One of the more interesting points is that it’s powered by a Linux-based OS, offered by Access. The Else certainly has a big challenge ahead of it, especially since it’s essentially going up against the big guns such as Google, Apple and Microsoft. One thing the Else has going for it is its very interesting looking user interface. Let’s keep an eye on this company (and phone), and hopefully we’ll be able to see it go mainstream in the future.
