3D technology is always interesting, and when you combine that with Satellite maps, things are bound to get interesting. The folks over at Ericsson Labs have uploaded a video demonstrating their new 3D Landscape API which is running on the XPERIA X10. The best is part, no matter how much panning, tilting and zooming is going on the video, the video output stays smooth, no doubt thanks to the 1GHz Snapdragon processor. Of course, this is still a proof of concept video, but let’s hope that there will be a consumer implementation sometime soon, eh?
