Eros tablet also known as Wing

Which name would you prefer – that of the Greek god love, or something less supernatural like Wing? Well, you know what the Bard said – a rose by any other name would smell just as sweet, and the same goes for the Eros tablet aka Wing. Powered by an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, the Eros tablet will come with a 10″ touchscreen display at two resolutions – 1,024 × 576 or 1,366 × 768, 1GB/2GB RAM and 160GB/320GB ROM, depending on the configuration of your choice. Shared specifications also include a couple of USB 2.0 ports, an SD memory card slot, handwriting recognition and Windows XP running in the background although those who want to be more up to date can always settle for Windows 7. Battery life is a downer though, with it running for 2.5 hours on Windows XP and a paltry 1.5 hours on Windows 7. No word on pricing, but it retails for the equivalent of $441 in China. We’d skip this due to the poor battery life, even if it goes for dirt cheap.
