Firmware Update Affecting PS3 Blu-Ray Drives?

While the actual cause of it is still unconfirmed, many users over at the Playstation forums are having problems with Modern Warfare 2 after updating their consoles to the 3.10 firmware. Apparently they’re experiencing freezing while playing the game, and unfortunately after experiencing the freezing, many users reported problems appearing in other games too, and this is leading to speculation that the firmware has affected the Blu-ray drives. Of course, there isn’t an official answer to this yet, but if your Playstation 3 is working fine and you aren’t experiencing any problems yet, you might want to pay attention to this issue, lest you end up with a problematic PS3.
