Gen.Y DualBOOT Will Allow You To Dual Boot Android And WinMob

We’re used to hearing people talk about dual booting on computers, but when it comes to cell phones, dual booting is really quite rare. That being said, a new bootlauncher app, Gen.Y DualBOOT, looks like it might be able to change the game more than a little bit. It’s currently designed for VGA devices, and supports booting from internal storage (moviNAND) or storage card (SD card etc), though a WVGA and QVGA version are also reported to be ready. With that in place, you’ll be able to choose whether you want to boot into Windows Mobile, or Google’s Android OS. It’s supported on Windows Mobile 6.1 or 6.5, so that’s good news. Do bear in mind that your Android setup must already be installed at the root of your storage card in order for this to work properly. Remember: it’s just a bootlauncher, so make sure Android is installed, if not you’re going to be left scratching your head quite a bit. Will this breathe new life into your existing Windows Mobile device?
