Google Nexus One external review

With Google employees being able to get hold of the Nexus One way before the rest of us, isn’t it any wonder that there is bound to be a review released before the actual phone hits the market? NexusOneBlog has come up with their review, and as you ought to know by now, this isn’t the panacea for smartphones as there are still pros and cons, hence the search for the Perfect Phone continues. The Nexus One’s battery isn’t any better than the iPhone’s apparently, dying out after 12 hours of intensive use, while the camera is touted to be lesser than the iPhone 3GS’ as it doesn’t use “natural colors” and you “have to play around with the settings more to get the perfect picture”. When pitted against the Motorola Droid, however, the Nexus One is clearly head and shoulders above Motorola’s offering, which ought to make for some interesting banter. We’re still waiting for someone to come along and churn out a worthy App Store competitor, as the Android Marketplace is still in need of a slew of other apps before it reaches such a status. To know more about the Motorola Droid, read our in-depth review.
