Haleron enters the smartbook fray with the Mini Swordfish, where this ARM-powered 7″ device looks more or less like a minor update to the Mio Smartbook Haleron which was unveiled to the masses in 2009. The processor is a wee bit faster at 300Mhz, while the price sees a drop to $149 which will net you the following specifications in pink, green, red, black and silver colors.

  • 300MHz VIA ARM 9-based 32-bit processor
  • 7″ TFT LCD display
  • Windows CE 6.0 OS (Add $15 for Linux and $55 for Windows XP)
  • 128MB RAM
  • 1GB flash storage
  • 802.11b/g WiFi, 10/100 LAN, optional 3G USB modem connectivity
  • Mic, headphone, three USB 2.0 ports, SD memory card slot
  • Up to 8 hour battery life
