Hitachi America has introduced its CP-DW10N 3LCD projector, boasting short throw capabilities, as well as networking functionality and widescreen display. One of the more useful features of this projector is its short throw distance of 3 feet, allowing you to project to an 87-inch interactive whiteboard from a distance of 37-inches. Thanks to its networking functionality, it can be controlled and maintained remotely, as well as controlling multiple projectors in different rooms, and monitoring functions such as remaining lamp life. The CP-DW10N features a WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution, and a 16:10 aspect ratio, making it compatible with widescreen laptop displays, which is probably the norm nowadays. Full details and features of this projector can be found over at Hitachi’s site.
