HP Mini 5102 now available with higher price

HP has unveiled its Mini 5102 business-oriented netbook that starts with a relatively high price point of $749 which will net you an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz processor, a 4-cell battery, a 10.1″ display at 1,024 x 600 resolution, 2GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a 2-megapixel webcam, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity. Why the high price, you ask? One of the reasons would be the inclusion of Windows XP Professional, thanks to Windows 7 Professional downgrade rights. Hopefully there will be a cheaper version unveiled sometime down the road as promised earlier – we’re specifically talking about a $399 configuration.

Update: The $399 model for the HP Mini 5102 is now available, folks!
