When you call your phone the HTC Smart, you’d normally give folks the impression that it’s some expensive, feature-rich phone, wouldn’t you? Well, the HTC Smart is really a budget phone, and is powered nether by Windows Mobile or Android, rather it sports Qualcomm’s BREW platform, which is cheaper for the manufacturer to implement. Aside from that, since the hardware requirements for BREW isn’t all that high, it will also allow manufactures to use lower-powered hardware, further reducing costs. With that in mind, the HTC Smart sports:
- 300MHz processor
- 256MB RAM
- HTC Sense interface
- QVGA 2.8-inch touchscreen
- HSDPA
- Bluetooth
- 3.0-megapixel camera
