
You might remember i-mate for its rather decent lineup of rugged Windows Mobile smartphones, but the company has been almost falling apart recently, reportedly due to some rather unpleasant business dealings. Now it seems that HTC might be slowing acquiring the company. There isn’t any official confirmation of such a deal just yet, but the fact that HTC has ported a phone number stating that they would be honoring i-mate warranties might be a good hint of things to come.
