Identity Media CPE C1

[CES 2010] Identity seems pretty bent on the Android idea, which is a good thing since we would like to see more and more hardware manufacturers adopt Android to see what they can come up with for the mass market. The prototype Media CPE C1 was on display, where it can connect to your home network connection via WiMAX or Wi-Fi, and it doubles up as a digital photo frame with the added capability of offering media playback and support of Android widgets. Needless to say, it is equipped with a touchscreen display for you to navigate. No idea on when it will roll out, but we hope to see it hit the market before this year’s holiday season is over for a pocket-friendly price.
