This Indoor Personal Mobility Robot seems like something that would be really useful to the elderly or disabled. Basically this wheelchair can guess where the person seated wants to go, and go in that direction. The direction desired is deduced as the chair detects a left or right movement of the person. The chair has 2 cameras that pop out near the top, giving it a bit of a bug-like look. Check out a video of it in action if you’re intrigued.
