[CES 2010] ioGear has a prototype USB 3.0 PCI Express Card in the works, but it isn’t going to hit the mainstream market anytime soon as their engineers are still working on it. Ten times faster theoretically compared to a USB 2.0 connection, it is capable of hitting 5Gbps when transferring data, and good thing it does not discriminate against USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. We suppose this will only roll out when USB 3.0 peripherals become mainstream.
