Is The Apple Tablet The Most Important Thing Steve Jobs Has Ever Done?

Is the Apple tablet the most important thing that Steve Jobs has ever done? According to various sources around the Internet, he certainly thinks so. Word is going around that several eyewitnesses, including Apple executives and Jobs’ friends that they’ve heard Jobs say that the project is the “most important thing I’ve ever done”, and that he’s personally excited about the results. It’s been said for a while now that Steve Jobs has devoted his full attention to the tablet, especially since he came back from medical leave back in June. If the iPhone was the result of Jobs’ attention, we shudder (in anticipation) to see what the Apple tablet will be like.

Steve Jobs Steve Jobs (1955-2011) was the co-founder of Apple Inc, which he created with Steve Wozniak on April 1 1976. The pair introduced personal computing with the Apple IIe. Steve jobs has also created Pixar, which he sold to Disney in 2006 and Next, a computer company that eventually merged back with Apple. Today's OS X is largely based on the work done at Next. After leaving Apple in 1985, Steve Jobs came back in 1996 in an advisory role and became permanent CEO again in 2000. Under his watch, Apple will execute projects like the iMac, iPod, iPhone and iPad.
