Making a domino row is extremely tedious in its execution, but once the first tile falls, it is definitely poetry in motion. Matthias takes the tedium out of domino row building with his Lego machine, using a motor from a recycled tape deck to keep the DIY machine moving forward while spacing each handmade wooden piece equally. This guy reserves kudos for taking the tedium out of an art form, but will it make the final result less valuable in the eyes of purists? Good thing there isn’t a card-laying machine that helps one construct a building using nothing but playing cards as you will still require solid engineering skills and a steady hand. Check out the video and be amazed.
