We’ve been hearing reports of a Lenovo eBook reader for some time now, and it seems that said eBook reader will be called the Lenovo Tianji EB-605. It’s still not officially confirmed yet, but based on what we know, it’ll be a 6-inch device, and should be going for less than $300. It should be worth noting that there is an SIM card icon at the top of the display, which probably indicates that it may support 3G connectivity. Specifications of this device should include:
- 400MHz Samsung ARM CPU
- 178mm x 128.4mm x 9.9mm dimensions
- Support for DF, CHM, EPUB, TXT, HTM, HTML, RTF, PDF, DJVU, MOBI, PRC formats
Hopefully we’ll be able to pick up more details on this device soon. Do you think it’ll be able to make a dent in the Kindle’s dominance of the market?
