An OTA (over-the-air) update for the Motorola Droid has been released, though unfortunately it isn’t the Android 2.1 update that we’ve all been craving for. From what users have gleaned, it seems that this update is focused more towards Facebook, as it enabled Facebook users to update the app via Android Market, and it seems to solve the issue of users experiencing data corruption when updating their Facebook profiles. If you’ve been experiencing problems with Facebook on your Motorola Droid, you might want to check this update out.
