Virgin Media’s upcoming music download service has been given an official name – MusicFish. According to reports, the service will be launching in July. In case you aren’t familiar with it, MusicFish will be a competitor to Spotify, and will be offering unlimited music streaming at downloads at £6.50 per month. There aren’t any details yet as to how the tracks will be delivered to the user, and that will certainly be one of the main challenges that MusicFish will face, especially since most folks agree that Spotify’s success is largely due to its speed, ease-of-use, and its mobile applications. Will MusicFish be a success? Well, only time will tell, so let’s keep an eye on it, shall we?
