NTT DoCoMo rolls out own Xperia X10

NTT DoCoMo will be rolling out its very own version of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, which is a pretty rare thing to do in Japan by its mobile carriers. Dubbed the “Smartphone Xperia,” this is the maiden effort from a major carrier anywhere that announced a branded deal on the set. You will get a similar customized Android skin on this Sony Ericsson smartphone, alongside all other notable hardware specifications intact (7.2Mbps down/2.0Mbps up, Wi-Fi connectivity, an 8.1-megapixel camera), where it will come in “Sensuous Black” and “Luster White” colors. Expect it to arrive in Japan this coming April – just in time for the cherry blossom season!
