Do you lead an extremely active lifestyle, and love toting a camera with you wherever you go? Nice to see other companies walking in Olympus’ footsteps as Panasonic has unveiled its latest LUMIX DMC-TS2 digital camera which is a rugged point-and-shoot device that does HD video recording as well. This 14.1-megapixel shooter is capable to swim with the fishes perfectly as long as it doesn’t break the 10 meter depth mark, and is up to two meters shockproof – perfect for butterfingers like me. Apart from that, it will run perfectly fine even in temperatures as low as 14° F. Other standard features to make this a surefire winner for those who want a rugged digital camera would include image stabilizer, a 6x optical zoom, face recognition capability and autofocus. No word on pricing for this puppy though, but we do know it will come in silver, blue, orange and yellow colors. [Press Release]
