Render Of Underwater Plane For Richard Branson

You might have previously heard that Virgin boss Sir Richard Branson was looking into getting into the deep end of the sea, and now a render of that vehicle that he’s going to use to get there has surfaced. Dubbed the Necker Nymph, the £415,000 ($670,000) prototype submersible can dive to depths of up to 130ft, though Sir Richard is hoping that it can one day explore depths of up to 35,000ft. It’ll glide like an aeroplane through the water, and can carry a pilot and 2 visitors on a two-hour trip. He plans to rent out the Nymph to visitors on Necker Island for $25,000 a week, though you’ll need to fork out $88,000 for seven-night stay on the luxury catamaran first, the Necker Belle. If you want to get on this ride, you’d better start saving your pennies real quick, as it’s supposed to be delivered on February 20th.
