Sony Vaio Z could come with quad SSD storage

Sony’s Vaio Z laptop looks set to be a game changer if this rumor is true – that it will come in a special quad SSD configuration thanks to RAID-0, and needless to say that ought to offer you unprecedented data transfer and access speeds. RAID-0 basically works by splitting data between two drives, offering better speed and performance. In the event where one drive fails, beware – all data will be lost, which means the data backup service is not out of business just yet. There is no word on actual performance statistics, but we do look forward to CES where all will be revealed. A quad SSD configuration in the new Vaio Z series ought to see its final price point shoot up to heart-gripping prices.
