T-Mobile could very well phase out its line of Sidekick smartphones in favor of the upcoming myTouch Slide from HTC. While this piece of news is unconfirmed, we are pretty sure that the golden era of Sidekicks are just about over, and there is a very real possibility that the Sidekick could be replaced by a new suite of handsets from the very same Danger team who are now under Microsoft’s payroll. These new handsets are known as Project Pink, and are rumored to already be under development. So far, a couple of Pink handsets have been leaked (their names, at least) – the Turtle and the Pure, which are touted to come with speedy processors and high-resolution touchscreens just like everyone else these days.
