AirLive Air3G router unveiled

AirLive has just rolled out its Air3G multi-function router which boasts a high-performance Single Stream 11N radio which is touted to offer all-round wireless coverage of up to 500 meters. That’s more than a block of coverage, and does seem to be the ideal candidate for offices or business establishments that want to extending wireless connectivity across the entire area without suffering from a drop in connection quality. AirLive Air3G Smart Backup allows one to switch to a backup connection whenever the primary connection is broken, while its self-recovery mode will return to its primary connection whenever the service is resumed in order to minimize the usage of the secondary connection (as well as cost). No idea on pricing, but the AirLive Air3G will hit the Middle East region this month.
