Slm4996 has come up with a way to get Android 2.1 running unofficially on the HTC Kaiser (also known as the AT&T Tilt), Vogue, Niki and Polaris instead of Windows Mobile. Everything works as advertised, save for the camera and Bluetooth connectivity. Good thing Slm4996 has thrown in a bug tracker that helps one troubleshoot any undiscovered issues. Those who are curious to give it a go but do not want to flash the hacked ROM to the handset can run it alongside Windows Mobile using HaRET.
