Archos has two tablet devices that will run on the Android operating system, where they will see action in Germany at the CeBIT show, touting both models to be “good value Android Tablets that are specially designed for use in the home”. Sounds promising, but then again which company would disparage their own products before launch? It would be interesting to see whether these are able to remotely challenge the iPad’s perceived superiority, although a failure of either (or both) devices would not signal the death knell of Archos.
