
The pre-release version of the Chrome operating system has shown itself capable of supporting the NVIDIA ION platform, which would definitely make netbook owners happy if they are looking for an avenue to play back HD video on their machine. Currently, there is only a handful of netbooks that run off the NVIDIA ION processor, but that doesn’t matter since we’re sure that more manufacturers will catch on in the near future if this compatibility proves to be a huge success.
