[MWC 2010] Comsys Mobile is first off the blocks to unveil the maiden WiMAX/GSM Android smartphone reference design to the world at MWC 2010, where visitors there can check out a bunch of applications that run on top of Android and Windows Mobile, with the ComMAX CM1125 reference design platform as its main driver. Apart from multimode mobile WiMAX/GSM-EDGE, CM1125 reference designs will be able to merge together Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM radio and GPS connectivity in a single device, including multi-radio coexistence that enhances user experience with anytime, anywhere connectivity. Hopefully battery technology will be able to catch up in due time to keep such high powered devices running for days on end. [Press Release]
